Sunt foarte multumit de serviciile acestei firme de remapare. Am facut stage1 si parca am alta masina decat cea de pana acum. A scazut consumul de combustibil, raspune rapid la acceleratie, depasirile le fac fara emotii ca nu ma ajuta motorul. Am castigat 26CP si aproximativ 50Nm. A meritat si recomand si altora care vor sa se bucure de masina lor si sa ii faca un "cadou" !

Had my heavily loaded pickup camper come in for a stage 1 remap. The guys were really thorough and made sure I was able to understand each step of the process and the eventual results. The vehicle attained a modest gain in performance, just enough to make the drives on the winding mountain roads a little smoother and without the gearbox shifting excessively as before. Fuel savings not determined yet but I have already noticed an overall reduction in rpm I would estimate about a 5-10% of fuel savings at this stage. Will be back for a TCU remap once they have the appropriate tools for my vehicle. Edit - it has been a few days since the remap was done and have done close to 800km on highway and mountain roads, and a bit off road. Fuel consumption was averaging 7.5km/L before, and after the remap I am seeing 8.8km/L for similar driving conditions. More than 10% improvement and am very happy with the results so far.

How does it go?
You book online, with your car already filled in. At the workshop the car goes on the dyno as it is: first measurement and full diagnostics. We write the calibration for your engine, within its limits, then the second measurement. You leave with the chart of the two curves overlaid. 1.5-2 hours, in Brasov, Str. Carpatilor 60. Stage 1, chiptuning, ECU remapping or ECU tuning: what is the difference?
They all describe the same service, only the term is different:
- Chiptuning: the established term from the 1990s, when the memory chips in the engine computer were physically replaced.
- ECU remapping or ECU tuning: the modern technical name, because the maps in the engine control unit are recalibrated.
- Resoftare or softare: the terms most often used in Romania for the same work.
- Stage 1: the international standard for optimising the software on fully original hardware.
What does a properly done Stage 1 involve?
It is more than raising a few values in the software. It means recalibrating the engine's control strategies so that it makes better use of the margin left by the factory: torque request and management, internal limiters, boost pressure, injection quantity and strategy, timing, pedal response and protection strategies. All of these work together; what matters is not only how much power you get, but how it is delivered.
