Baietii sunt profesionisti! Toata increderea, preturi in regula!
How long does chiptuning take for the Mercedes-Benz · 450 4MATIC (EU6e) 381 HP?
On average 1.5-2 hours, including diagnostics and the dyno measurement before and after. Reading and writing through OBD (the diagnostic port) is the usual route. When the ECU has to be read on the bench or unlocked, it can take longer; we tell you when you book.
What warranty does AMC Motorsport give for the installed software on the Mercedes-Benz · 450 4MATIC (EU6e) 381 HP?
AMC Motorsport gives 24 months of technical support for the installed software and stands behind the calibration it made. Any non-conformity directly related to the software we installed is analysed and, if needed, corrected at no extra cost. Support can include re-analysing the installed file, checking operating parameters through diagnostics and/or logging, software corrections or a return to the original version, when this is justified and technically possible. Support covers only the software installed by AMC Motorsport and is not a warranty for the mechanical, electrical or electronic components of the vehicle.
Does the car pass the periodic technical inspection (ITP) after a remap?
A correctly calibrated Stage 1 keeps emissions within the limits needed to pass the ITP. Our calibration keeps the exhaust after-treatment systems fully working. The engine must be in good mechanical condition: an engine with existing problems can fail the emissions test whether it is stock or modified.
Stage 1 or Stage 2: which suits my car?
Stage 1 is a software-only optimisation, with no hardware changes. It is the safest and most accessible step: typical gains of 25-35% on turbo diesel, 20-30% on turbo petrol and 5-12% on naturally aspirated engines. Stage 2 is advanced software that needs minimal hardware changes (usually a sports downpipe and an improved intake) and adds another 10-15% over Stage 1. Projects beyond Stage 2 (bigger turbo, intercooler, fuelling) are custom work, discussed individually for each car.
Does fuel consumption drop after a remap?
Yes, with a normal driving style. The extra torque at low rpm means better efficiency; many diesel engines with Stage 1 show 0.3-0.8 l/100 km less in mixed driving. With a sportier driving style, consumption can go up. If lower consumption is your main goal, Eco tuning is calibrated for economy: 8-15% on diesel and 5-10% on turbo petrol.
If I have an automatic gearbox, does it need a remap too?
Stage 1 on the engine works perfectly without TCU tuning, exactly as we deliver it. Gearbox tuning is the next step, an upgrade of the driving experience: faster shifts, a more direct response, a Sport mode that holds boost better. If you have Stage 1 and want to take it further, gearbox tuning is the most enjoyable improvement you can add. It does not fix anything; it raises the experience to a higher standard.
ECU remap Mercedes-Benz CLE 450 4MATIC (EU6e) 381 HP
For the Mercedes-Benz CLE 450 4MATIC (EU6e) 381 HP, AMC Motorsport offers chiptuning and ECU remapping developed individually on its own dyno.
AMC Motorsport is a workshop in Brasov specialising in chiptuning and ECU remapping since 2009, for diesel and petrol engines. We have developed and measured on the dyno thousands of calibrations for a wide range of makes and engines, with Stage 1 solutions developed individually. The aim is a real increase in power and torque, with the reliability and refinement you would expect from a professional calibration.

Stage 1, chiptuning, ECU remapping or ECU tuning: what is the difference?
They all describe the same service, only the term is different:
Chiptuning: the established term from the 1990s, when the memory chips in the engine computer were physically replaced.
ECU remapping or ECU tuning: the modern technical name, because the maps in the engine control unit are recalibrated.
Resoftare or softare: the terms most often used in Romania for the same work.
Stage 1: the international standard for optimising the software on fully original hardware.
What does a properly done Stage 1 involve?
It is more than raising a few values in the software. It means recalibrating the engine's control strategies so that it makes better use of the margin left by the factory: torque request and management, internal limiters, boost pressure, injection quantity and strategy, timing, pedal response and protection strategies. All of these work together; what matters is not only how much power you get, but how it is delivered.
How we work on the Mercedes-Benz 450 4MATIC (EU6e)
We check the technical condition and the original software, develop the calibration for this engine, measure it on the dyno and analyse how it behaves under load. The result is a car that responds more readily and pulls more flexibly when accelerating, picking up speed and overtaking, with no mechanical modifications and with the power delivered in a controlled, sustained way.
